Martina is a PhD candidate at Masaryk University’s Department of Media Studies and Journalism. In her dissertation, she seeks to better understand the audiences of political memes. Her current research interests include political memes, social media cultures, platform logics, digital audiences, and the ways in which these elements interact with and shape one another.
In her role as YECREA Communications Officer, she supports the management team by building and nurturing an active network of young researchers, keeping them posted on latest career and personal growth opportunities.
