PhD Conference on Adaptivity in Health Communication

The doctoral school Pro*Doc Communication and Health is pleased to announce
its PhD Conference on Adaptivity in Health Communication (10-11 Sep 2010,
Monte Verit=E0 - Ascona, Switzerland).

The Conference will will conclude the activities of the doctoral school and will feature presentations by both junior and senior researchers, around the theme of adaptivity in health communication in three main areas of research in health communication:
(i) mass communication
(ii) doctor-patient communication
(iii) risk communication

The Department of History of Art & Architecture at the University of
Pittsburgh is pleased to announce its 2010 graduate student symposium
entitled “The Place of the Image: Global Connections, Local
Affiliations.” The event will coincide with opening festivities for
the exhibition Ordinary Madness at Carnegie Museum of Art, including a
screening of Harry Smith’s film, “Heaven and Earth Magic” (1957-1962)
