Hey there! My name is Christian Schwarzenegger and I am a research assistant and Phd student at the Institute of Language and Communication Studies at RWTH Aachen University. Prior to starting my Phd I earned my Master's degree in Communications at the University of Vienna where I was project assistant and lecturer and am still giving courses on communication research in a historical perspective. I specialize on the history of everyday culture, the history of the banal and the relevance of popular culture for social and cultural memory.
