Hi, my name is Melanie Schiller and I am currently a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA) and lecturer at the University of Amsterdam’s Dept. of Media and Culture. I hold a Research Master’s degree in Media Studies and am specialized in Popular Culture and Nationalism. My current research is focused on German National Identity and Popular Music.
