My name is Tereza Pavlíčková and I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. My doctoral thesis is concerned with the question of audiences’ understanding of the author and its role in the process of interpretation. Broadly, I am interested in audience and reception research, popular culture and new media studies, exploring audiences' interpretation of media content in the current media environment.
