My name is Carla Cerqueira and I am a PhD student at the Communication Sciences department at University of Minho (Portugal). My research project focuses on the evolution of journalistic speech in the International Women’s Day (1975-2007) in the Portuguese press. I am a researcher for the Centre of Communication and Society Studies (Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Sociedade – CECS) in the same higher education establishment where I am currently developing my PhD project.
