Call for papers: “ECREA section of Interpersonal Communication and Social Interaction”

Dear all,

we are happy to announce that this year, the section of Interpersonal Communication and Social Interaction will be held in the University of Lugano, Switzerland on the 3rd and 4th of October 2013 with the collaboration of the Institute of Health Communication. Proposals for abstracts (300 words) or posters can be submitted online until 30 April 2013.

New Representative - Introductions!

As the new representative of the Interpersonal Communication & Social Interaction Section, I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself on YECREA’s online platform. My name is Nanon Labrie and I am originally from the Netherlands. After having obtained a research master’s degree in argumentation theory at the University of Amsterdam in 2010, I moved to Switzerland, where I am currently conducting a Ph.D. at the University of Lugano. In my research I focus on the role (and effects) of argumentative discourse in doctor-patient communication.
