Young scholar social events at section conferences 2009

dear section and country reps,
I was thinking it would be a good idea to organize an informal young scholar meeting before the actual start of the section conferences. It makes the rest of the conference more pleasant for young scholar if they already get to know other young scholars before. We organized a yecrea meeting at the ECC in Barcelona last November and that went really well. And the good thing is there not much work to it, really. It basically comes down to picking a good venue (bar or cafe) and inviting young scholars. This is also a good place for announcing possible other young scholar activities at the conference.
