Political Communication: Representative

Hello, my name is Alenka Jelen and I'm a lecturer and a course co-ordinator of the international MSc programme at the University of Central Lancashire. I'm also a PhD candidate at the University of Ljubljana. My research interest is in political and communication studies with a special focus on the role political sources play in the media news framing process, and qualitative research methods, particularly interviews. I have participted in ECREA Summer School in 2007 and it was a great and unforgettable experience.
Prior to joining the University of Central Lancashire in August 2008, I had been working as a public relaitons adviser and teaching assisstant at the University of Ljubljana and a radio journalist, news director, and overseas correspondent.
