100 Doctoral 50th Anniversary Scholarships at University of Kent
In preparation for the University’s 50th anniversary in 2015, Kent has established an additional 100 doctoral scholarships to be awarded annually from 2012. Known as Kent’s 50th Anniversary Scholars, successful candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential. Scholarships will be offered at the standard RCUK rate; applications are invited from UK/EU and international students.
Within the School of Arts, the 50th anniversary scholarships will be attached to the School’s five influential research groups and centres.
Centre for the Interdisciplinary Study of Film and the Moving Image
The purpose of the Centre is to draw together scholars from across the University who use film and the moving image as an integral part of their research. We seek to support projects that promote collaboration between individuals and other research centres. Our aim is to produce a more proactive engagement with other disciplines, to open new lines of communication, and to produce innovative knowledge formations through the activity of pioneering research projects.
If you feel that your research project can help us achieve this aim then you are warmly welcomed to apply
Directors: Peter Stanfield (School of Arts) & Antonio Lazaro-Reboll (SECL)
