An opportunity is offered to study for a PhD on the topic of transmedia adaptations. This refers to texts, characters or stories which have been moved from the book into other media such as film, games, plays, dance. The studentship will sit alongside the Crossing Media Boundaries: Transmedial Adaptations and New Forms of the Book project lead by Professor Alexis Weedon. However the student will determine their own project within this broader area.
