On the use of pictures, tables, graphs and slides in presenting research design and results

Short abstract of the presentation:
This is a workshop on doing oral presentations, with a particular emphasis on doing (or not doing for that matter) a Powerpoint. It also has a component on how to do good graphs and tables.

Short biography:
François Heinderyckx is Professor of media sociology and political communication at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) where he chairs the master in information and communication. He is project leader at the Institut des Sciences de la Communication du CNRS (France) and President of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). His current research areas include audience reactions to television news; science in the media; e-government.
